2 Lire from Italy. Issued from 1939 to 1940. Struck in Acmonital (austenitic). Measures 29.1 mm and weighs 10 g.
- Obverse
- Head of King Vittorio Emanuele III facing right. Below the neck the name of the engraver (Vittorio Emanuele III King and Emperor (of Italy) G. Romagnoli)
- Reverse
- Eagle in profile, with outstretched wings and head left, has fasces with axe in its claws. The eagle is encircled by a laurel wreath made of two branches. Where the branches meet together at base is the Shield of Savoy which divides the value below. The date is on the left of the value, while the mint mark and the year in the Fascist Era are at right.
