Description
20 Euros from San Marino. Issued in 2006. Struck in Gold (.900). Measures 21 mm and weighs 6.45 g.
- Obverse
- In the center of the Samnite shield in which there are three rocks surrounded by a wall, on which the three towers with on each a feather. Above the shield a closed crown, and below the inscription "Libertas". On the left an olive branch and in the right part of an oak branch. The inscription "Republic of San Marino" issuing state is inscribed all around the coin.
- Reverse
- Plan of a fort seen from the sky, with a knight in the center of the fort. On the left, the value "20 euro" at the top of the legend "Giovan Battista Belluzzi military architect", below the year of issue, the dates "1506 - 2006" and the mark of the Rome monetary workshop "R" and the name of the engraver "veroi".
