Obverse
In the center of the Samnite shield in which there are three rocks surrounded by a wall, on which the three towers with on each a feather. Above the shield a closed crown, and below the inscription "Libertas". On the left an olive branch and in the right part of an oak branch. The inscription "Republic of San Marino" issuing state is inscribed all around the coin.
Reverse
Portrait of Giovan Battista Belluzzi. On the left, the value "50 euros" at the top of the legend "Giovan Battista Belluzzi 1506 2006". The symbol of the Rome mint "R", the year of minting "2006" and the name of the engraver "VEROI" can be found on the sides of the coin.
