- Obverse
- Coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino in which we can see a hill and towers with feathers. Above, a crown. On the left a branch of laurel, and on the right a branch of oak surround this coat of arms. The name of the engraver is inscribed at the bottom of the coin, and the name of the Republic of San Marino appears on the outline of the coin.
- Reverse
- Representation of a detail of San Marino tempera painting (by an unknown painter from Tuscany), dating from the 16th century, which is housed in the San Marino State Museum. Top left is the year of issue "2010" and around the coin are the words "SAN MARINO TREASURES". At the bottom is the artist's name "V. De Seta" and the value "20 EURO". The "R" symbol is the mark of the Italian mint responsible for minting the coin.
