- Obverse
- In the foreground is the face of Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, while in the lower left are the three towers and three feathers, symbols of the Republic of San Marino. One of the complete decorative elements, the legend "Republic of San Marino" and the sketcher's name "CASSOLA MA.
- Reverse
- In the foreground of the painting "fruit basket." To complete the value of "EURO 5" year "1610" and "2010" in turn the legend "Caravaggio" and the "R" of the Italian Mint, which was responsible for production.
