2 Hryvni from Ukraine. Issued in 2010. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 31 mm and weighs 12.8 g.

Obverse

Above - the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription (National Bank of Ukraine), below - the coin face value (2 Hryvni) and the Mint logo of the National bank of Ukraine, to the left - the coin issue year 2010; in the center there is depicted searchlighted La-7 aircraft (side number 27), which was piloted by I.N.Kozhedub.

Reverse

Ivan Kozhedub’s portrait against the background of a conventionalized airfield with an aircraft there on; under the aircraft there is the inscription (Ivan Kozhedub).
