2 Shu / ⅛ Ryō "Shin-Nanryō Nishugin" from Japan. Issued from 1824 to 1830. Struck in Silver (.978). Measures 0 mm and weighs 7.53 g.
- Obverse
- Ten kanji in pearl border, reading "以南鐐八片 換小判一兩" (Take eight pieces Nanryō to exchange for one ryō koban)
- Reverse
- A Fundō (symbol for official weight) with an incuse stamp 定 to the left of it over 4 kanji surrounded by pearl border. (Guaranteed Ginza (Silver Mint) Jōze (Mint Official))

- Vertical reeding on short sides slanted reeding on long sides with incuse sakura
