Obverse
On the front side of the coin is depicted an ancient silver coin dirham, which was struck at the end of the 13th century - Almaty mint. The tour of the coin is gilded on it "ҚАЗАХНСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" and "THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN", as well as the nominated coin name "500 TENGE" and the year of issue "2009".
Reverse
The other side of the numismatic rarity - the dirham coin. On the gilded surface, the inscriptions "АЛМАТЫ МОНЕТАСЫ" and "COIN OF ALMATY". "XIII ғ." And "XIII p.", Denoting the century, to which scientists refer to this coin.
