- Obverse
- Overlapping rock paintings, in the center appears the coat of arms of Portugal, with the inscriptions "2010" and "REPÚBLICA PORTUGUESA". At the bottom the face value 2.50€ and more on the left the mark of the workshop "INCM" and the name of the artist "A.MARINHO".
- Reverse
- Rock paintings and in the center the logo of the world heritage with the inscriptions "Archaeological site Côa Valley", "World Heritage" and more on the left "UNESCO".
