40 Francs - Charles X from France. Issued from 1824 to 1830. Struck in Gold (.900). Measures 26 mm and weighs 12.9 g.
- Obverse
- Naked head of Charles X on the right. Under this head is indicated the name of the engraver. CHARLES X and KING OF FRANCE on both sides of the head.
- Reverse
- The shield of France crowned between two branches of olive tree, the year is indicated below and the inscription 40 F on both sides of the blazon.
