- Obverse
- A dove perched on a globe and holding an olive branch in its beak symbolizes peace in the world. The face value and the year of issue. In the legend: the republican motto "LIBERTÉ-EGALITÉ-FRATERNITÉ" and the mention "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE".
- Reverse
- The logotype of the UN and the number "50" whose curve of the "5" wraps around the emblem and which together form the official logotype of the fiftieth anniversary of the Organization. The initials "UN" in the background, Circular legend: "UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION" and the dates "1945-1995".
