Obverse
Sower after O. Roty surrounded by the twelve stars of the European flag.
Reverse
In the center of the coin an olive branch and two ears of wheat reminiscent of the reverse of the 1 centime, ½ franc, 1 franc, 2 franc and 5 franc coins. At the edge of the upper listel the inscription "fiftieth anniversary of the new franc" recalls the writing of the 1 centime coins. Finally the dates "1960 2010" illustrates the fiftieth anniversary of the Franc Pinay or Franc de Gaulle.
