10 Euros from Slovakia. Issued in 2011. Struck in Silver (.900). Measures 34 mm and weighs 18 g.
- Obverse
- Two monks in the Nitra monastery writing the Zobor deed in 1113. On the right-hand side of the coin, the coat-of-arms of the Slovak Republic and the year 2011 above. The name of the state "SLOVENSKO", the initials "PV" of the designer, Mgr. art. Peter Valach and the "MK" mint marks appear below the depiction of the monks.
- Reverse
- Representation of a fragement from the deed of Zobor and the seal of the Benedictine monastery of Saint. Hippolyte. The inscription "ZOBORSKE LISTINY" is reminiscent of medieval Romanesque architecture. The face value "10 EURO" is on the left-hand side of the coin.
- Edge
- The inscription "● NAJSTARŠIE ZACHOVANÉ LISTINY NA SLOVENSKU" translates as "The oldest documents recorded in Slovakia".
