2 Hryvni from Ukraine. Issued in 1997. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 33 mm and weighs 14.35 g.

Obverse

There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue - 1997. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА - above and 2 ГРИВНІ - underneath in two lines. The inscriptions are separated from one another with decorative signs.

Reverse

There is a depiction of Solomiya Krushelnytska' profile portrait. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: СОЛОМІЯ КРУШЕЛЬНИЦЬКА (Solomiya Krushelnytska) - above and 1872-1952, years of birth and death-underneath.
