- Obverse
- Figure skater in front of the globe. The inscriptions "2011", "SOCHI" and the face value "10 EURO" are on the globe. The different, and the other inscriptions "FRENCH REPUBLIC" and the motto "FREEDOM - EQUALITY - FRATERNITY" "are all around the globe following the listel.
- Reverse
- Performance of an artistic figure skating couple performing an arabesque. On the left side of the piece is a stylized public, reminiscent of three Russian dolls one behind the other. The inscription "WINTER GAMES" is on the right side of the coin along the listel. This piece refers to the upcoming 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
