Obverse
A genie writes "HUMAN RIGHTS" on a massive table. This motif, borrowed from Augustin Dupré, is surrounded by the inscription: "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE" (FRENCH REPUBLIC).
Reverse
A tree topped by a Phrygian cap bears the motto "LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ". This adaptation of a drawing by Michel Durand-Megret is crossed by a band bearing the face value.
