Description

10 Euros from Federal Republic of Germany. Issued in 2011. Struck in Copper-nickel. Measures 32.5 mm and weighs 14 g.

Obverse
The stylized federal eagle under the twelve stars of the European Union in the center of the coin. Around the eagle the name of the state "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the Federal Republic of Germany, the year "2011", the mark of the Munich workshop by the letter "D" and the face value "10 EURO". Under the face value the words "Silber 625", silver 625‰, do not appear to avoid any confusion with the coin minted in silver 625‰.
Reverse
In the center of the room, Till the Mischievous, a character from German literature who appeared around 1511. Above, at the edge of the listel, the inscription "500 JAHRE TILL EULENSPIEGEL", 500 years of Till the Mischievous. The initials "FB" of the artist Frederic Brenner appear below the character.
