- Obverse
- Crowned right facing half-length bust of Charles I, wielding a sceptre and orb. Thistle and 'B' at the end of the legend. (Charles, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland)
- Reverse
- Crowned royal arms, crowned 'C' to the left and crowned 'R' to the right (I am set over them, that I may be profitable to them.)
