7½ Euros from Portugal. Issued in 2011. Struck in Copper-nickel. Measures 33 mm and weighs 18.5 g.
- Obverse
- In the center, the cross of the Order of Christ with three dots above, the coat of arms of Portugal and the face value "7,50€". Around the center is the name of the state ":REPÚBLICA::PORUGUESA:", the year, the mint mark "INCM" and the name of Andreia Pereira the engraver, "a pereira".
- Reverse
- Blazon of King Manuel I of Portugal surrounded by the double legend: outside, "+ I: EMANVEL: R: PORTVGALIE: ALG: VL: IN: A: D: G:" (Manuel I king of Portugal and Algarve, here and abroad in Africa, lord of Guinea); and inside, "C: N: C: ETHIOPIA: ARABIA: PERSIA: I:" (the conquest and navigation and trade of Ethiopia, Arabia, Persia and India).
