- Under the stylized federal eagle, traditional symbol of German sovereignty, the name of the state "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the year, the letter "J" of the Hamburg workshop, the face value "10 EURO" and the twelve stars of the European Union. On this coin does not appear the mention "SILBER 625" (silver 625‰) not to confuse them with those in silver.
