In the central field presents the left profile of Jorge Luis Borges. On the upper edge, in an arc, the legend "REPUBLICA ARGENTINA", and in the lower, between pearls, "1899 JORGE LUIS BORGES 1999".

Reverse

In the central area presents a labyrinth, in whose center a sundial is found. At the top, on the main image, the face value "1 PESOS", and in the exertion of the coin, the year of coinage "1999".
