Description
Ecu with 8 Ls - Louis XIV from France. Issued from 1704 to 1709. Struck in Silver (.917). Measures 40 mm and weighs 27.28 g.
- Obverse
- Bust with bare head of the king on the right.
- Reverse
- Cross formed of four groups of L leaning under a crown cutting the legend, cantoned by four lilies. Three lilies in the heart. Letter of workshop in the exergue.
- Edge
- Raised edge, with fleuron and lily between the words.
