- In the center and against the background of the Ukrainian landscape there is a depiction of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol and Rudy Panko, his literary character, above there is the semicircular inscription: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), beneath - the small National Emblem of Ukraine, 2005, the coin mintage year and the inscriptions: 5/ ГРИВЕНЬ (5/ hryvnia), as well as the logotype of the NBU Mint is depicted.
- Reverse
- There is a multi-figured composition, typical for a country fair of 19th-20th centuries; above there is a semicircular inscription: СОРОЧИНСЬКИЙ ЯРМАРОК (Sorochynsky Fair).
