2 Hryvni from Ukraine. Issued in 2006. Struck in Nickel brass (German silver). Measures 31 mm and weighs 12.8 g.

Obverse

Above - the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, under which there is the inscription - НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК/ УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine), elements of the conventionalized ornament are depicted diagonally, to the left - the coin face value: 2 ГРИВНІ/ 2006 (2 Hryvnia/2006). On the coin there is also the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint .

Reverse

There is a portrait of Mykhailo Hrushevsky, to the left there is the vertical inscription: МИХАЙЛО/ ГРУШЕВСЬКИЙ (Mykhailo Hrushevskyi), beneath there are the years of life: 1866/ 1934.
