- In the center there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, thereunder - the year of coinage - 2006, there are also the semicircular inscriptions: above - НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) below - ДВІ ГРИВНІ (2 Hryvnias) and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

- Volodymyr Chekhivskyi is potrayed against the background resembling very conventionalized cross, to the left there is the inscription: ВОЛОДИ-/ МИР/ ЧЕХІВ-/ СЬКИЙ (Volody/myr /Chekhiv/skyi), to the right - his years of life - 1876/ 1937.
