A ballet scene is depicted, the Small National Emblem of Ukraine (above) and the inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); below there is 5/ ГРИВЕНЬ (5 Hryvnias) and the coin mintage year 2007.

Reverse

The building of the Odessa State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater is depicted, under which there is the inscription: 120 РОКІВ (120 Years), and one more around the coin circumference - ОДЕСЬКИЙ ДЕРЖАВНИЙ АКАДЕМІЧНИЙ ТЕАТ ОПЕРИ ТА БАЛЕТУ (Odessa State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater).
