Obverse

The mirror image of swans against the background of wavy water, the face value 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 hryvnias) on the left above, the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and the semicircular legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) on the right, the coin issue year 2008 as well as the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint beneath.

Reverse

There is, against the background of a pond and a park images, the portrait bust of the arboretum founder with the legend ІВАН/СКОРОПАДСЬКИЙ (Ivan/Skoropadskyi)/1804-1887 thereunder, the inscription 175/РОКІВ (YEARS) is to the left and the crescent legends ДЕРЖАВНИЙ ДЕНДРОЛОГІЧНИЙ ПАРК (State Arboretum) on the left and ТРОСТЯНЕЦЬ (Trostianets) above.
