Obverse

There is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine between two figures of angels and the following legend on the silver coin - УКРАЇНА and 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ / 2000, (Ukraine/ 10/ hryvnia/ 2000), and indication of the metal, its fineness - Ag 925 and the coin weight in fineness 31,1, as well as the logotype of the NBU Mint is placed.

Reverse

In the foreground there is placed a cruciform composition depicting the Prince Volodymyr the Baptist (Volodymyr the Great) against the background of the scene of kievites baptizing and the conventionalized inscription: ХРЕЩЕННЯ РУСІ (Baptizing of Rus)
