In the center, view of the Louvre castle at the time of Philippe Auguste. On both sides the letters "R F", at the top the dates of reign (1180-1223) and below the value "10 EURO".
Reverse
Portrait of King Philip II, known as Philip Augustus (1180-1223), wearing one of the first crowns with the royal lily. The name of the king is inscribed on the circumference of the coin, and below the marks of monetary workshops and the year.
