- On the right, the effigy of King Albert II, from the front, and on the left the crowned royal monogram on the heraldic reproduction of the Belgian flag, next to the trilingual indication of the country: BELGIUM - BELGIUM - BELGIEN. Underneath, the face value and the initials LL of the engraver are shown. Under the effigy of the king, are the indication of the value 100 EURO and the monetary marks.
- Reverse
- In the right part, the reproduction of the first 1 franc coin issued under the law of 7 - 17 germinal, year XI (1803). The left part carries the inscription FRANC GERMINAL and the dates 1803 and 2003.
