Obverse

The Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); against the background of the map of Ukraine with the legend КИЇВ (Kyiv) there is the image of the official UEFA Euro 2012 logo with the inscriptions thereunder UEFA/EURO 2012TM/POLAND-UKRAINE; to the right - the coin issue year 2011, the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint and the bow-shaped face value П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias).

Reverse

Against the background of a conventionalized panorama of the city and Olympic Stadium there are depicted figurines of two players with the ball in motion; above there is the Coat of Arms of Kyiv, below - the inscription ФІНАЛЬНИЙ ТУРНІР ЧЕМПІОНАТУ ЄВРОПИ / З ФУТБОЛУ / 2012р.
