Obverse

The Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); against the background of the map of Ukraine with the legend ДОНЕЦЬК (Donetsk) there is the image of the official UEFA Euro 2012 logo with the inscriptions thereunder UEFA/EURO 2012TM/POLAND-UKRAINE; to the right - the coin issue year 2011, the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint and the bow-shaped face value П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias).

Reverse

Against the conventionalized background of the Donbass Arena Stadium there is depicted a figurine of the goal-keeper with the ball in motion; above there is the city panorama and Coat of Arms of Donetsk; below - the inscription ФІНАЛЬНИЙ ТУРНІР ЧЕМПІОНАТУ ЄВРОПИ / З ФУТБОЛУ / 2012р. (Final tournament of the championship of Europe / of football / 2012 year).
