Obverse
Appears on the coin at the top left the face of the aviator Louis Blériot and his first name "LOUIS", and his name "BLÉRIOT". On the top right is an airplane with the coastline in the distance, underneath is inscribed the route he took across the English Channel "CALAIS-DOUVRES". At the bottom of the coin is the outline of the Nord-PAs de Calais region with the letters "RF" for République Française on top. Along the scroll is the name of the region "NORD-PAS DE CALAIS".
Reverse
The face value between two branches of laurel and oak, surrounded by the French motto and three hexagons.
