- Appears on the coin in the upper right the face of the Gallic leader Vercingetorix with underneath his name "VERCINGETORIX". Next to him a Carnyx (Celtic wind instrument). Underneath is the outline of the Auvergne region with the letters "RF" for République Française. Along the listel is written the name of the region "AUVERGNE".

- The face value between two branches of laurel and oak, surrounded by the French motto and three hexagons.
