Obverse
The face of resistance fighter Danielle Casanova appears on the top right of the coin. Her first and last name "DANIELLE CASANOVA" is written along the scroll beside her face. At top left, barbed wire with a hand is visible, reminiscent of the Auschwitz concentration camp. At the bottom of the piece is the outline of the Corsican region, with the letters "RF" for République Française above it. Along the scroll is the name of the region "CORSE".
Reverse
The face value between two branches of laurel and oak, surrounded by the French motto and three hexagons.
