- Obverse
- The top left of the coin shows Zéna M'Déré's face, surrounded by her first name "ZÉNA", and her last name "M'DÉRÉ". At top right is the Mayotte coat of arms (a crescent and two flowers) and a seahorse in a tricolored hexagon. At the bottom of the coin is the outline of the Mayotte region, with the letters "RF" for République Française above it. Along the scroll is the name of the region "MAYOTTE".
- Reverse
- The face value between two branches of laurel and oak, surrounded by the French motto and three hexagons.
