- Obverse
- The stylized federal eagle surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union in the center of the coin. Above the name of the state "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND", the Federal Republic of Germany. Below the eagle is the year "2012", the face value "10 EURO" and the words "Silber 625", silver 625‰, to avoid any confusion with the coin minted in cupronickel.
