- Cuban coat of arms, country name as curved legend on top, face value below, 2 5-pointed stars on sides. (Republic of Cuba 1 Peso)
- Reverse
- Marti head 3/4 right on left, Castro head 3/4 left, on right. Cuban flag between them, above, flying dove between figures. Below figures shape of the south shore of Cuba, and lower part and sides with wavy lines, symbolizing the Caribbean Sea. Legend 5 lines growing from center to lower edge. Issue year below Castro's head, mintmark inside last "O" in legend. (30th. Anniversary of the Success of the 1989 Revolution)
