Obverse

Between two ornamental slits there are depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2001, 5, ГРИВЕНЬ (Ukraine/ 5 Hryvnia/ 2001). There is also the depiction of the logotype of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Reverse

There is depicted the facade of the bank's capital building (architects: O.Kobeliev and O.Verbytskyi) above the building there is depicted the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine and the circular inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) and below: 10 РОКІВ (10 years)
