Above, against a smooth background, there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the following legend: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) thereunder; 10 the right, against a background showing part of the plan of Chyhyryn Fortress, is the wall of Doroshenko's Stronghold; 10 the left there is a conventionalized ornament and the following legends: Face value - 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 hryvnias), year of issue - 2012, and the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
