- Obverse
- Trident, crescent & dagger Within circle, legend in Devanagari: Kori Paanch [VS date] (Within circle: Kori Five 1939 Outside circle: "Maharaja Dhiraaj" - understood simply to mean "ruler" or "king" in spite of its literal translation as "great king". The first element in this word, mahā- means "great," "Mirza" - is an islamic title, normally refers to a prince "Maharau" - The rulers of Jadeja dynasty of Kutch, used to be called Maharao "Shri" - a title of respect used before the name of a man, a god, or a sacred book "Khengarji" - name of the ruler "Bahadur" - brave "Kutch Bhuj" - name of the kingdom)
