10 Euros from France. Issued in 2013. Struck in Silver (.900). Measures 37 mm and weighs 22.2 g.
- Obverse
- The faces on the left are the French President, General De Gaulle, and on the right, the German Federal Chancellor, Konrad Adenauer. Their faces are both turned towards the central face value "10 EURO" and the anniversary dates "1963-2013". Below the effigies are their respective signatures. Above their heads is inscribed in French "50e ANNIVERSAIRE DU TRAITÉ DE L'ÉLYSÉE" and below it in German "ÉLYSÉE-VERTRAG" (Traité de l'Élysée). Beneath the latter are the letters "RF".
- Reverse
- The face represents a woman's face, symbolizing the goddess Europa.
- Edge
- Smooth with in hollow the inscription "EUROPA" repeated four times in reversed directions.
