2 Euros from Italy. Issued in 2013. Struck in Bimetallic: nickel brass clad nickel centre in copper-nickel ring. Measures 25.75 mm and weighs 8.5 g.
- Obverse
- The design shows the bust of Giuseppe Verdi in three quarter view facing left; on the left the monogram of the Italian Republic while on the right, R (monogram of the Mint of Rome); both are above the dates of the anniversary. In exergue initials of the Author Maria Carmela Colaneri and "G. VERDI". The coin???s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union.
