5 Euros from Italy. Issued in 2003. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 32 mm and weighs 18 g.
- Obverse
- In center the "Moduler" an anthropometric scale of proportions devised by the French architect Le Corbusier, with at its right the double helix of the DNA; both are inside a rectangle. At sides a schematic representations of the modern technology. At right are also present the date and the "RI" monogram. Name of the author below the Moduler. (RI = Italian Republic)
- Reverse
- At the center is a reproduction of a bas-relief from the 2nd century representing the work of man. The bas-reflief separate the value above and at the bottom together with twelve stars (six above and six below) placed along the rim.
