- Obverse
- Allegory of Italy as a young woman with a towered crown. Behind her, above left shoulder is a page of Italian Constitution with the first article written on it. (Italian Republic Italy is a Democratic Republic founded on work)
- Reverse
- On the right a putto holding a scale in his raised right hand (symbol of Justice) and the Italian banner in the left. The banner is flying behind him, creating a sort of spiral with the scale in center. On the left the value, the dates of the anniversary and the mint mark. (60th year of the Constitution)
