A geographical representation of the Italian peninsula with a circle of eleven stars. Above the Italy is laying a woman with a towered crown and wings on temples, whose long band wraps itself several times to surround a star in the woman's hands (the last of the twelve stars of the countries members of the European Union, the star of Italy).
