Obverse

Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine), in the centre there is a part of one of M.P.Kravchuk's formulae with his utterance in the middle thereof МОЯ ЛЮБОВ - УКРАЇНА І МАТЕМАТИКА (My love - Ukraine and mathematics), below there are the coin face value - ДВІ ГРИВНІ (two hryvnias), issue year indication - 2012 and the National Bank of Ukraine Mint logo.

Reverse

Against the background of numbers personifying the mathematician's activities there are his portrait and legends: МИХАЙЛО/КРАВЧУК (Mykhailo/Kravchuk) and to the right 1892/1942 (years of his life).
