1 Skilling from Denmark. Issued from 1542 to 1558. Struck in Billon (.250 silver). Measures 22 mm and weighs 1.98 g.

- Crowned shield with arms of Denmark inside a beaded circle. Behind the shield is a long-arm cross than divides legend in four. (Christian (III) King of Denmark by the Grace of God)

- Value and date on five lines within beaded circle. Lettering surround (King of Norway, the Wends and the Goths)
