- Obverse
- The coin depicts one of the towers of Olavinlinna castle, built in 1475, and a rowan branch, the tree of the northern province of Savonia.
- Reverse
- In the middle: the author's initial "T" and the provincial coat-of-arms of the Savonia region: a bow and arrow. In the coin's crown, to the left and below, the face value "5 EURO". On the right, at 3 o'clock, the Suomen Rahapaja logo and, above the coat of arms, the year of issue "2013".
