Facing bust of Spinelli, with in the background the representation of the hemicycle of the seats of the Italian Parliament (Italian Republic)

Reverse

Again, as in obverse, a representation of Italian Parliament hemicycle, partially surrounded by a spiral band with the twelve stars of the European Union. In center the value. Over this composition is a geographical image of the Ventotene Island the place where Spinelli is buried. Over it the dates of the anniversary and the mint mark.
